Kavya Madhavan enters wedlock

Kavya Madhavan is all set to tie the nuptial knot soon. An official announcement regarding the wedding date is yet to be announced but other details have been shared with the press. Kavya entered the film industry as a child artiste in the film Azhagiya Ravanan with Mamootty in the lead. She had acted

in Tamil films including Kasi, Sadhu Miranda and En Mana Vaanil.

Kavya will tie the knot with Nischal, an NRI software engineer based in the United States. Their engagement took place in Ernakulam a couple of months ago and their wedding date remains yet to be finalized. Incidentally, Nischal had also had his share in the film industry having starred as a child artist in films like Aayitham and Kizhakkunaram Pakshi.

Rajni, Kamal, Ajith and Vijay fans come together

Following the protests of actors and directors held at Rameshwaram and subsequently in Chennai on November 1, 2008, fans of actors are observing fast today to show their solidarity towards the Sri Lankan Ethnic Tamil issue.

According to reports, fans of

Rajinikanth, Kamal, Ajith, Vijay, Cheran, Seeman, and Ameer have gone on a one day fast starting this morning all over Tamil Nadu in prominent places in an effort to attract attention of the Sri Lankan Government against the genocide of ethnic Tamils.

FEFSI has observed a similar fast in Chennai yesterday with Vishal and Vijay marking their attendance among many other celebrities. The association of TV artistes is also planning a protest on November 9, 2008.
