Simran demonstrated a newbie about First Night

Most experienced Simran who has a son at the age of 3 years, demonstrated in front of a young actress, what First Night is!

Simran is acting in a movie titled Cheval. Bharath is doing the lead role and his pair is Poonam Bajwa who has just now entered Kollywood from Telugu.

Simran has a pair called Prem and according to the director Hari of the movie, aunty Simran is just married and he arranged for a first night setup in a house near Thenkasi.

Simran was specially dressed for the first night scene and Hari made Poonam to sit in a corner of the room and made her to watch. As its First Night, the director arranged the shooting after 10 pm and the shooting went on till next day early hours.

After watching the shooting, innocent girl Poonam said that with the help of Hari, she learnt what First Night is!

The Vijay- Nayanthara action entertainer Villu, directed by Prabhu Deva is making brisk progress. Last week, during the nights, action scenes were canned for the film in and arond the busy streets of Chennai.

The film has some awesome action scenes which are very crucial to the story. After completing the Chennai schedule, the unit has now left for Pollachi to shoot a song for the film.

According to sources in the industry, Prabhu Deva wants to shoot the ultimate Kuthu song for the film. Remember some of the most popular Kuthu numbers in Tamil cinema have featured our Ilayathalapathy. One of the major highlights of Vijay- Prabhu Deva’s earlier Pokkiri was the songs and its picturisation. Who can forget the chartbusting kuthu number Mambazham ma…?

Similarly in Villu, music director Devi Sri Prasad is said to have composed a mass kuthu number which will be picturised on Vijay and Nayanthara in Pollachi this week. The song, it is believed, is sure to make the fans of the star happy.

They struck an accord with the middle class audience in Thavamai Thavamirunthu. Now the lead pair of this movie, Cheran and Padmapriya are back to weave their magic once again with the audience. Pokkisham will be produced by Nemichand Jhabak and V Hitesh Jhabak.

There were talks about romance between Cheran and Padmapriya during Thavamai Thavamirunthu. It was rumoured that Padmapriya was virtually living out of Cheran’s T Nagar office and the joke was that she was trying to teach Cheran how to browse the net and also send e-mail!

However after the release of the movie, their romance was over and the latest we hear is that Cheran is bringing back his favourite Padmapriya in his ambitious Pokisham. Pokkisham will also be directed by Cheran himself. Cheran who has completed Raman Thediya Seethai where he plays the hero has been working on the script of Pokisham for the last two years.

The movie has stared rolling and is a much expected movie out of Cheran’s direction.

The movie has been jinxed ever since the start. Initially the script was written with Surya in mind, but he could not keep his commitment. Finally Arya filled in. Then there was starting trouble and then the biggest setback when two carpenters who were working on the film died.

Director Vishnu is not a happy man with all these setbacks and the latest we hear is that he is planning to change the title of the movie.

Director Vishnuvardhan’s next movie is Sarvam. Arya and Trisha form the lead in Sarvam. Chakravarthy is villain in this movie. The Sarvam movie is produced by ayngaran international and Sarvam will be directed by Vishnuvardhan. Vishnuvardhan, after giving hits like Arindhum Ariyamalum, Pattiyal, and Billa, has now written an action-packed story for Arya.

The great legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan will be urged to appear in a movie together based on Saint Thomas. Vijay, Ajith and Vikram are also expected to appear in guest roles in this movie.

The movie to be funded by the government of Canada, and the Vatican is expected to match Hollywood big-budget movies such as Ben Hur and the Ten Commandments in budget and quality. The film would initially be made in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi and later dubbed into various other languages, including English and French.

The film was launched by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi during the feast of St Thomas at Saint Thomas Cathedral, Chennai.

Tall-dark-handsome hero Vishal says his forthcoming movie Sathyam will have Kollywood’s steamiest song ever. He is paired with Nayanthara for the first time in Sathyam, and calls the lady a marvelous heroine. The movie’s song Chellamey is a duet, composed by Harris Jayaraj, has been rendered by Madhu Balakrishnan and Bombay Jayashree. Vishal claims it to be the hottest song in Tamil cinema ever.

Nayanthara plays a television presenter in the movie in which Vishal plays a cop. Kannada star Upendra also plays an important role in the movie, made at a budget of over Rs 26 crore.
