Newtonin Mundram Vidhi is progressing

Newtonin Mundram Vidhi is progressing well and 70% of the shooting is over. The film has been entirely shot in Chennai. Only two song sequences will be shot abroad. The film stars S J Suryah and Sayali Bhagat, who bagged the prestigious Miss India title for the year 2004. Sunitha Sarathy has sung a song while Suryah has lent his voice for the first time ever for a song based on Bharthiyar’s famous poem Kannama. Na.Muthukumar, Kabilan, Vivega and Illyakambam have penned the lyrics.

Sayali is not like any other heroine from the North who is not willing to speak long Tamil dialogues. In fact, she made it a point to learn it and render it promptly when needed however long it is. The star cast also includes Rajiv Krishna who plays antagonist, Thalaivasal Vijay, Tarika and Sathyapriya etc. Thaimuthu Selvam is directing this film.

Cheran has earned the wrath of the team of the film Raman Thediya Seedhai. He has been stalling the development of this movie. Cheran has accused the team of sidelining him in this movie. Cheran also accused the crew of ignoring his role in the movie and giving greater weightage to Pasupathy and Nithin Sathya’s role. Differences in the movie crew cropped up when Cheran refused to dance for a party scene citing his image as a family hero as the reason. Then, the song was completed using Ramya Nambeesan.

Rajnikanth will make his entry only in the third reel of the film Kuselan. His entry in the movie will be one of a kind, riding a horse, wearing a Mexican hat, an eye mask and with a sword. It will be in tune with a song Cinema Cinema, sung by Shankar Mahadevan. The superstar will have screen presence for a hour in the film. Three of the songs make a direct mention to the Superstar himself and all these songs are supposed to be mind blowing.

Dozen Rajni titles in Kuselan song Daler Mehndi’s Om Zaarare in the movie mentions over a dozen of Rajini’s previous movies, including Maaveeran, Paayum Puli, Padayappa, Chandramukhi, Polladhavan, Pokkiri Raja, Annamalai, Mannan, Thillu Mullu, Thappu Thaalangal, Murattu Kaalai and Ejamaan.The song is said to feature Rajnikanth in about 20 get ups, including that of James Bond.
